Diet chocolate brownie. Diet brownie cake. PP brownies in the microwave

Good afternoon

Today I come back to you with a delicious and dietary dessert - chocolate diet brownie.

Moreover, without unnecessary ingredients, which many people avoid to take care of their health and figure...

Instead of sugar, I used natural fresh and liquid honey from the apiary; prunes also add sweetness, but it will not be enough for those with a sweet tooth, so I added honey. If you don't like it, you can replace it with maple syrup. I haven't eaten flour for a long time. True, except for rye and peeled. But this time I bought flaxseed cake, or flaxseed flour, it is very, very useful. Flaxseed flour improves digestion very well, normalizes stool, and removes everything unnecessary. Not a dessert, but a fairy tale.

The zest is given by almonds, chocolate and dried apricots added during decoration.

Diet brownie

You'll need:

  • Prunes - 250 grams
  • Flaxseed flour (cake) - 4-5 tbsp.
  • Natural liquid honey (m. maple syrup)
  • Almonds - 70-100 grams (you can take other nuts)
  • cocoa powder - 2-3 tbsp.
  • vanillin optional
  • water -300 ml.
  • dried apricots and dark chocolate 72% slices for decoration
  • good mood

First you need to soak the prunes, then cut them into small pieces with food scissors. Next, add dry ingredients to it - flaxseed flour, cocoa powder, vanillin if desired, almonds, honey - mix. Add water and stir until the consistency is homogeneous; it should be neither liquid nor very hard.

Be sure to let it cool after baking, then cut it into squares and put it in the refrigerator; the diet brownie quickly becomes dense.

Place on a plate, decorate with dried apricots, dark chocolate, you can even grate it and serve with fresh coffee or tea. You can do without decoration, it’s also delicious, but it’s much nicer to decorate your plate.

Enjoy your meal!

If you are on a diet or have simply made a vow to eat exclusively healthy and wholesome foods, you probably sometimes find it difficult to avoid the temptation to secretly eat a cookie, bun or piece of cake. However, most of these snacks are essentially useless extra calories.

However, a diet is not a reason to avoid everything that even slightly resembles dessert. All you need are the right cooking strategies, the ability to find replacements for “harmful” ingredients in existing recipes and a little creativity to end up with a delicious and, most importantly, healthy dessert.

We bring to your attention a recipe for healthy brownies. This cake will not only satisfy any sweet tooth, but will also provide him with quality nutrition, and you will spend no more than half an hour preparing the dessert.

Our Healthy Brownies vs. Store-Bought Brownies

Regular brownies that you can buy at the store or bakery are loaded with calories, sugar and trans fats. If you're on a diet trying to look and feel your best, this dessert could be a barrier to your success!

By using only whole and unprocessed ingredients, you can completely change the nutritional profile of this delicious dessert. It will be much healthier than regular store-bought cakes.

The nutritional value

Pay attention to the table below, which shows that brownies prepared according to our recipe contain much less calories than store-bought ones, and the proportion of fat and sugar in it is also reduced. As for ready-made cakes, they are simply full of sugar, fat and calories. One serving of the finished dessert, for example, contains 10 teaspoons of sugar!

Oatmeal instead of white flour

When baking most baked goods, refined white flour is used, which is devoid of any beneficial properties. Even worse, the flour is bleached to give it a “pure” white appearance. Whiteness comes at the cost of the toxic byproduct alloxan.

An excellent substitute for white wheat flour can be oat flour, which can be easily found in the store or made yourself by grinding regular oatmeal in a food processor. Oats contain vitamins, minerals and fiber that will help speed up your metabolism, fueling your body.

If you are looking for a recipe that will allow you to prepare a dish with even fewer carbohydrates, we recommend replacing oat flour (or just part of it) with almond flour, which, among other things, will enrich the food with healthy fats.

100% Dark cocoa powder

Cocoa is a food rich in powerful antioxidants, but most chocolate companies dilute it by mixing it with lots of sugar. Instead of chocolate, as prescribed in the classic brownie recipe, we recommend using cocoa powder.

Chocolate Whey Protein

To pack your brownies with protein, add whey protein powder to the batter when baking. Of course, it is best to get most of the protein your body needs from natural foods, but this is not always possible.

Sweeteners

We all know that consuming large amounts of sugar will lead to a spike in insulin levels, and if done on a regular basis, to weight gain. But did you know that most artificial sweeteners do the same thing? Despite the fact that synthetic sweeteners are considered safe for humans, we recommend giving preference to the natural product – stevia.

The source of stevia is a plant with the same name. It is 25-30 times sweeter than sugar, but has very little effect on blood sugar levels.

You can make brownies without any sweeteners at all, and they will still be delicious, since the applesauce and cocoa add a natural sweetness to the brownies.

Secret ingredient

The only ingredient that raises questions is the berry flavored applesauce. What is his secret? Apples add a hint of sweetness to the finished product, and the aroma of berries emphasizes the richness of the chocolate. Instead of purees, you can successfully use baby food.

Healthy Brownie Recipe

You should purchase all ingredients from your local grocery store in the health food section. Be prepared for these products to be more expensive than regular ones.

1 cup oat flour (or 1/2 cup oat flour and 1/2 cup almond flour);

And the use of low-fat cottage cheese in the recipe also makes this dessert a source of protein, which is simply necessary if you want to lose extra pounds. You can even add protein to this dessert if you wish.

Also, instead of sugar, which has a high calorie content, our recipes use only natural sweeteners, for example, stevia, agave syrup, honey.

Pumpkin PP brownie

This dessert recipe is ideal not only for those who adhere to proper nutrition and want to lose excess weight. Due to the absence of dairy ingredients and even eggs, this dessert is ideal for vegetarians and vegans. In addition, the recipe itself is quite simple to prepare.

  • 400 grams of pumpkin puree. We will use pumpkin as the basis for our brownie. This vegetable is ideal for weight loss as it contains a minimum of calories. There are only 25 calories in 100 grams of pumpkin. In addition, pumpkin is rich in fiber, which improves the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract. Pre-boil the pumpkin and blend it in a blender. The puree should not be liquid. Boil the pumpkin in a small amount of water.
  • 100 grams of dates. We will use them instead of sugar and sweeteners. Don't forget to peel them and chop them. It's best to do this in a blender.
  • 100 grams of peanuts. To add a little nutty flavor to our diet brownie, we'll use peanuts. Grind it to fine crumbs.
  • 2 ripe bananas. Grind them to a puree.
  • 100 grams of natural cocoa. To give the brownies a chocolate flavor, we will use only natural cocoa without adding sugar or other harmful additives.

Now just mix all the prepared ingredients in one container. Don't worry if your dough is too thick, you can always add a little water. We will bake the brownies in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Check the readiness of the dessert with a toothpick. On average you will need about 30 minutes.

PP brownie chocolate

You can also make a diet brownie using fruit puree. In this case we will use applesauce.

  • 200 grams of applesauce. You can prepare it yourself or buy it already prepared. Baby applesauce is ideal, especially since many manufacturers do not add sugar to it, and this is what we need. 100 grams of applesauce contains only 68 calories, so you don’t have to worry about your figure.
  • 100 grams of flour. We will use two types of flour in this recipe - rice and flaxseed. Take 70 grams of rice flour and 30 grams of flaxseed flour. You can change these proportions if you wish. Remember that flaxseed meal is an excellent source of plant-based protein and omega 3 amino acids.
  • Sweetener. You can use any one you like.
  • 25 grams of cocoa. Remember to use only natural cocoa. Then your diet brownie will taste more chocolatey and have fewer calories!
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder.
  • 2 eggs.

At the very beginning, beat the eggs with any sweetener. Then add applesauce to the egg mixture. Stir thoroughly. We have a pp brownie base. Mix flour with cocoa and baking powder in a separate container. Add the apple mixture to the flour and mix. Place the PP brownies in a silicone mold and bake for 20-30 minutes at a temperature of 170-180 degrees!

Low calorie brownie

You can prepare a dessert with a minimum of calories and maximum benefits using cottage cheese. This is the perfect recipe if you want to add as much protein to your diet as possible.

  • 120 grams of cottage cheese. Use low-fat cottage cheese; 100 grams of this product contains only about 70 calories and 16 grams of protein! It is best to use slightly damp cottage cheese, then the dessert will be juicier. In this case, cottage cheese is the low-calorie base of our brownie.
  • 4 tablespoons rice flour. Instead of wheat flour, it is best to use rice flour; it contains more nutrients and is ideal for baking cakes and desserts.
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa. You can use low-fat cocoa, then you will make your brownie even less low-calorie. In any case, make sure there is no sugar in the cocoa.
  • 2 eggs.
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder.

The cooking process itself is extremely simple. First, beat the egg with the sweetener, then add the cottage cheese and mix thoroughly. Mix the flour with cocoa and baking powder in another container and combine with the curd mass. Bake brownies in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

PP brownies in the microwave

If you don’t have time for baking, but don’t want to disrupt your healthy diet, you can always prepare a dessert in a few minutes using the microwave. Yes, yes, you heard right! Just a few minutes - and a delicious and healthy pp brownie is ready!

  • 3 tablespoons of oatmeal. To make our dessert truly dietary, we will give up regular wheat flour and replace it with oatmeal. This way we will get more nutrients and fiber, which promotes weight loss.
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa. We will use low-fat cocoa to make diet brownies. Since our pp brownie is prepared without sugar, make sure that it does not contain cocoa.
  • 3 tablespoons of milk. You can use low-fat milk.
  • Natural sweetener. We will use honey in this recipe, but you can choose another substitute.
  • 1/3 teaspoon baking powder.

Simply combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. It is better to do this with a whisk for one minute. Then pour the mixture into a cup or silicone mold and put it in the microwave for 2-3 minutes. Depending on the power of your microwave oven, cooking times may vary. The main thing is not to overcook the PP brownie, otherwise it will become rubbery.

This brownie option will also be an ideal dietary breakfast for those who want to treat themselves to a healthy dessert.

Brownie with stevia

One of the most popular sweeteners for baking is stevia. We offer you a recipe for pp brownies with stevia.

You will need:

  • 150 ml kefir. Instead of the usual milk in this recipe we will use kefir; it is also ideal for baking pp brownies.
  • 120 grams of rice flour. If desired, you can add another type of flour.
  • 2 ripe bananas. You should first soften them with a fork.
  • 30 grams of natural cocoa.
  • 2 eggs.
  • Stevia. In order not to get confused about how much stevia you should put in, remember that 1 teaspoon of sugar is 6-8 drops of liquid stevia, ¼ teaspoon of stevia powder or stevioside on the tip of a knife.
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

The first step is to separate the yolks from the whites. Add stevia and mashed bananas to the yolks. Mix everything. In a separate container, mix flour, baking powder and cocoa. Mix flour with banana mixture. At the very end, add the whipped whites.

Place in a mold and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes. PP brownie is ready!

Recipe for PP zucchini brownies

If pumpkin is often used in the preparation of sweet desserts, then it can be difficult to imagine zucchini as the basis for pp brownies. But not in our case! Surprisingly, you can even make low-calorie brownies using zucchini!

  • 300 grams of zucchini. In this recipe we will use the zucchini variety of squash. They are more delicate in taste, have a pleasant aroma and consistency. 100 grams of zucchini contains only 16 calories! First, the zucchini should be peeled and grated on a medium grater.
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder and the same amount of soda.
  • 1 tablespoon natural cocoa to add chocolate flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil. Can be replaced with any other oil.
  • ½ cup rice flour.
  • ½ cup oatmeal. So we will replace the flour and add even more fiber and nutrients to our brownie. The flakes should be crushed first.
  • 1 egg.
  • Any sweetener of your choice.

First, beat the egg with sweetener and butter. In a separate container, mix flour, oatmeal, cocoa, baking powder and soda. Add the egg mixture and flour to the grated zucchini. Mix everything thoroughly and put it in the mold. Bake for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees.

Brownie with beets

Another unusual and low-calorie brownie recipe made from beets. Quite an unusual solution, but nevertheless you will get a real dessert to your taste!

  • 200 grams of boiled beets. Wash, peel and boil the beets until fully cooked. This ingredient is great for dietary nutrition, as it contains only 43 calories per 100 grams, but beets contain a lot of fiber and nutrients. It is good to include it in your diet if you have problems with the gastrointestinal tract.
  • 3 tablespoons rice flour. If you wish, you can replace the flour with another, but baked goods with rice flour are more tender, and since this is a dessert, this flour is ideal.
  • Any sweetener. Add according to your taste, be sure to taste during the cooking process so that you get a really sweet dessert.
  • 5−6 tablespoons of milk. Use low-fat milk; you can substitute any plant-based milk if desired.
  • 3 tablespoons of natural cocoa.
  • ½ teaspoon of any baking powder.
  • 2 eggs

To prepare this pp brownie, you need to beat the beets, eggs and sweetener in a blender. Then add flour, cocoa, baking powder and milk. If there is not enough milk, you can add more. We put it on the form and send it to the oven! After 30 minutes, enjoy your diet brownie!

PP brownie with cherry

An excellent diet brownie without flour or sugar can be made with cherries. To prepare this recipe you will need the following ingredients:

  • 100 grams of cherries. You can use either fresh or frozen cherries. 100 grams of cherries contain only 23 calories.
  • 60 grams of bran. In this recipe, we use bran instead of flour and oatmeal. This product is rich in fiber and promotes weight loss. However, if you have problems with the gastrointestinal tract, then it is better not to use bran, but replace it with oatmeal or rice flour.
  • 3 eggs
  • 40 grams of cocoa. It is best to use low-fat cocoa, it contains much fewer calories.
  • 4 sachets of fitparada. Can be replaced with any other substitute.
  • 80 ml of any milk.

Beat eggs with sweetener, add milk, bran and cocoa. Mix everything thoroughly. Place the cherries in the mold (a few berries can be added to the dough if desired) and pour the dough on top. Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes at 180 degrees.

As you can see, a cake made from beets and even zucchini is not a myth at all, but a reality! Be sure to try pp brownie recipes and share your results!

The highlight of this dish is the chickpeas. But don’t be alarmed, it is he who turns the texture of the diet treat into the one we love so much in the original recipe. Before cooking, leave the chickpeas to soak in cold water for 8-12 hours, and then boil, even slightly overcook them, so that the chickpeas are easier to puree.

When whipping pea puree, you can add a little water (up to 50 ml) to make the blender easier to work with and to get as smooth a paste as possible. But do not overdo it, otherwise the dessert will not hold its shape after baking.

Add all the other ingredients to the pea paste: a couple of eggs (you can take only the whites, but in a volume equivalent to a whole egg), baking powder, honey (or maple syrup, agave syrup, stevia) and cocoa powder. To make the brownie even more chocolatey, you can add half a cup of chopped dark chocolate to the list of ingredients.

Combine all ingredients together.

Cover a rectangular shape with parchment (ours is 15 × 25 cm) and lightly grease the paper with vegetable oil. Pour the dough and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Check readiness with a match or a toothpick, the old fashioned way.

Let the brownies cool for about 20 minutes before slicing, and then you can start tasting them without feeling guilty.

Ingredients:

  • 400 g boiled chickpeas;
  • 2 eggs;
  • ⅓ cup cocoa powder;
  • ⅔ glass of honey;
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder;
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil;
  • ½ cup dark chocolate (optional)

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking dish (15 × 25 cm) with parchment and grease it with a drop of vegetable oil.
  2. Beat the boiled chickpeas into a smooth paste and combine with the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Pour the batter into the pan and leave the brownies to bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Let the dessert cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing.
