We prepare the products.


We start preparing this dish with a chicken marinade. To do this, mix 50 g of mayonnaise, 50 g of ketchup or tomato paste, 20 g of mustard, 1 tbsp. spoon of soy sauce.

Using a garlic press, crush a few cloves and add them to the bulk.

Salt to taste and add your favorite spices. In this case, it is a mixture of black, red and white peppers.

Wash the potatoes, peel them, cut them into slices (don’t do it very finely so that the pieces don’t fall apart).

For the sauce, mix natural yogurt, chicken spices and salt in a cup. Instead of yogurt, you can use sour cream. Sometimes, for variety, I make a mixture from my favorite set: sweet and sour sauce, soy sauce, ketchup, plus yogurt or sour cream.

How to deliciously cook baked chicken with potatoes

Before baking, turn on the oven at 190-200 degrees to warm up.
Wash the chicken, cut into portions (today I had drumsticks and chicken fillet from the breast, and in this recipe you use those parts of the chicken that you like best), grease with vegetable oil. Salt, pepper, rub with garlic passed through a press.

Peel the potatoes and onions and cut them as you wish (I used the potatoes in small cubes, and the onions in small cubes, everything was chopped using a chopper).
Salt and pepper the raw potatoes, and you can season them with your favorite spices. Add sour cream (200 g), mix (I didn’t have sour cream today, I added pieces of butter).


Place a baking bag or cut-off sleeve on a baking sheet. Tie one end of the sleeve. Place the chicken in the bag. Cover the chicken on all sides with potatoes; you can bake the chicken under the potatoes. Tie the bag, lift the opposite corner of the baking bag up and cut it off so that steam can escape, but all the juice remains inside the bag.
